Millions of civil servants and civil servant retirees covered by the Emekli Sandığı (Retirement Fund) received a 15.57 percent raise in their salaries as of July 2025. However, the salary arrears accrued between July 1 and July 14 have not yet been deposited into accounts.

NO STATEMENT FROM THE SGK YET
The Social Security Institution (SGK) has not yet provided any information regarding the salary arrears to be paid to civil servants and retirees. While this situation causes concern, especially for civil servant retirees living on fixed incomes, questions regarding the payment schedule are increasing day by day.
When past periods are examined, it is observed that salary arrears are generally deposited into accounts after the 20th of the month in which the raise occurs.
For example; The January 2025 salary arrears were paid on January 24.
The July 2024 salary arrears were deposited into accounts on July 26, 2024.
In light of this information, all eyes are now on the payment of the July 2025 arrears after the 20th.
WHO WILL ANNOUNCE IT?
The date when the salary arrears will be deposited is expected to be announced by the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, or the Social Security Institution. Announcements to be made by the SGK's official website and social media accounts, as well as by Minister Işıkhan, will be decisive for the salary schedule of millions of people.
