According to the new tariff approved by the İBB Council, while the increase rates in different regions of Istanbul vary between 12.82% and 99.91%, the price increase in parking lots in the Historical Peninsula and Kadıköy Pier area was set at 99.91% to reduce traffic. In the vote held at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council, the proposal to increase İSPARK parking fees was accepted by a majority of votes. Accordingly, it had been claimed that the fees determined for İSPARK were increased by up to 115%.

İBB Council Member and CHP Group Spokesperson Gencay Özcan made a statement regarding the new İSPARK fees, which will come into effect on January 1, 2025.

Stating, "Misleading data shared with the public by certain circles should not be taken into account," Özcan shared the increase rates applied to parking fees in Istanbul's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd regions, as well as the Historical Peninsula in Fatih and the Kadıköy Pier area.
