When will the pension difference payments be made? The wait continues for the 1,969 TL difference

The lowest pension has been increased from 12,500 TL to 14,469 TL. This regulation was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force, but the 1,969 TL difference payment resulting from the base salary improvement has not yet been deposited into accounts. Retirees are waiting with curiosity to see when the payments will be made.

APPROXIMATELY 2 MILLION RETIREES ARE WAITING

Across Turkey, 1 million 980 thousand retirees had long been living on a base pension of 12,500 TL. While the new regulation raising salaries to 14,469 TL has pleased retirees, the fact that the difference payments have not yet been made has raised questions.

Social Security Consultant Emin Yılmaz reminded that pension payments are determined according to the last digit of the allocation number. Here is the detailed payment schedule:

Those whose allocation number ends in 9: On the 17th

Those whose last digit is 7: On the 18th

Those whose last digit is 5: On the 19th

Those whose last digit is 3: On the 20th

Those whose last digit is 1: On the 21st

Those whose last digit is 8: On the 22nd

Those whose last digit is 6: On the 23rd

Those whose last digit is 4: On the 24th

Those whose last digit is 2: On the 25th

Those whose last digit is 0: On the 26th

4B BAĞ-KUR PENSION PAYMENT DATES

Those whose last digit is 5, 7, and 9: On the 25th

Those whose last digit is 3 and 1: On the 26th

Those whose last digit is 4, 6, and 8: On the 27th

Those whose last two digits are 0 and 2: On the 28th

WILL THE DIFFERENCE PAYMENT BE DEPOSITED WITH THE SALARY SCHEDULE?

Experts state that looking at past practices, difference payments are generally deposited in addition to salaries. However, it is also possible that the payments could be deposited before the salary date. Since there is no legal regulation on this matter, a definitive date has not yet been clarified.

HOW MUCH WILL THE FEBRUARY SALARY BE?

According to Emin Yılmaz's estimates, salaries in February could be deposited along with the difference payment. In this case, retirees could receive approximately 16,438 TL in February. Starting from March, the new salary regulation of 14,469 TL will begin to be applied.

A NEW ERA IN PENSIONS

While the base salary increase has brought smiles to retirees, the lack of a clear payment schedule brings uncertainty with it. While an official statement from the SGK is expected, retirees are demanding that the salary differences be paid early.
