The Presidency's Directorate of Communications Center for Combating Disinformation has issued a statement regarding the claim that "An investigation has been launched into retirees' bank accounts. The last 5 years are being checked retroactively."

In the statement, it was noted that the information claiming "the Ministry of Treasury and Finance has reached findings that some retirees' accounts are being used by third parties or companies" is baseless.

The statement, which underlined that no investigation has been launched by the Ministry into retirees' bank accounts, included the phrase, "Do not give credence to baseless claims aimed at manipulating public opinion."
