The Social and Economic Support (SED) payments made by the Ministry of Family and Social Services to families in need aim to meet the basic needs of children and provide economic support to families. These aids, provided to citizens experiencing temporary financial difficulties, are deposited into accounts on dates determined each month. HAVE THE MARCH 2025 SED PAYMENTS BEEN DEPOSITED?

The Ministry of Family and Social Services deposits SED payments into accounts by the 20th of each month. No statement has been made by the Ministry regarding the matter yet. 

HOW MUCH ARE THE INCREASED SED PAYMENTS?

With the civil servant salary coefficient adjustment made in January, SED payments were increased to 7 thousand 94 liras.

WHO CAN RECEIVE SED SUPPORT?

The conditions required to benefit from the Social and Economic Support service are as follows:

Children who are cared for in social service institutions with a care measure decision and who can be placed with their families or relatives if supported.

Children who would become in need of protection if not supported due to economic deprivation, but who can be cared for by their families or relatives by benefiting from social and economic support services without a care measure decision.

Young people who have completed the age limits after a care measure decision was taken and have left social service institutions or foster families, who continue their job and vocational training courses or education, or who would become in need if they do not have a job or profession and are not supported.

Those who cannot meet the basic needs of themselves and their family members they are responsible for supporting for a certain period due to an extraordinary disaster, natural disaster, illness, or accident, as well as children of individuals who have encountered life-threatening situations requiring surgery or who have passed away.

Requests are evaluated within the scope of the Regulation on Social and Economic Support Services, and those deemed appropriate as a result of the examination are supported.
