He joined Bayer in 2012: Senior appointment at Bayer Turkey

A senior appointment has been made at Bayer Turkey. Colin Tyrer, who previously served as Country Group Head for South, East, and West Africa (SEWA) in the EMEA 2 region, began his role as President of the Bayer Pharmaceuticals Turkey and Iran Country Group as of November 2023. Colin Tyrer took over the position from Per Edlund, who had held the role since 2022.

A graduate of the University of Manchester Faculty of Science and Engineering, Colin Tyrer joined Bayer in 2012. Having worked at Bayer for 11 years, Colin Tyrer previously held various positions in the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, and the South, East, and West Africa regions.
