Here are the new civil servant salaries by profession!

The July 2026 salary increase for public employees and retirees in Turkey has been determined. The announced current inflation rates have set the percentage of raises to be applied to civil servants and retirees. According to the June data released by TUIK, the six-month inflation rate was 17.76 percent. Consequently, civil servants, along with SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees, were directly affected by these raises.

HOW DID INFLATION DATA REFLECT ON SALARIES?

Within the scope of the data for June 2026, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.99 percent on a monthly basis, while annual inflation was recorded at 32.11 percent. In the six-month period, the total increase in the CPI was 17.76 percent. While this rate was applied exactly as the July salary raise for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees, collective bargaining agreements and the inflation gap were taken into account for civil servants and civil servant retirees. In this direction, the July raise for civil servants and civil servant retirees was determined to be 13.51 percent. Civil servants will benefit from a total increase of 13.51 percent, including the 7 percent raise they obtained last month within the scope of the collective bargaining agreement.

NEW CIVIL SERVANT SALARIES BY PROFESSION

Following the finalization of the raise rates, the new salaries of civil servants according to their titles have been updated as follows:

• Professor (1/4): The salary, which was 135,089 TL, has increased to 153,340 TL as of July.
• Specialist Doctor (1/4): The 150,426 TL salary was determined to be 170,749 TL after the raise.
• Engineer (1/4): Engineers will receive a salary of 109,209 TL in the new period.
• Branch Manager (University Graduate, 1/4): The salary, which was 94,384 TL, has risen to 107,135 TL.
• Research Assistant (7/1): Will receive a salary of 102,804 TL as of July.
• Lawyer (1/4): The salary, which increased from 90,000 TL to 102,159 TL, will be applied in the new period.
• Police Officer (8/1): The salary of police officers has risen from 81,617 TL to 92,643 TL.
• Specialist Teacher (1/4): Updated to 92,192 TL.
• Preacher (1/4): 87,009 TL was determined as the new salary.
• Nurse (5/1): The salary of nurses has risen to 84,871 TL.
• Teacher (1/4): Will be 83,280 TL as of July.
• Technician (11/1): The new salary of technicians is at the level of 75,904 TL.
• Civil Servant (9/1): An increase from 64,397 TL to 73,097 TL occurred.

RAISE EQUAL TO INFLATION FOR SSK AND BAĞ-KUR RETIREES

An increase equal to the 17.76 percent inflation rate will be applied to the July salaries of Bağ-Kur and SSK retirees. The raise rate for civil servant retirees remained at 13.51 percent as a combination of the collective bargaining agreement and the inflation gap.
