The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has announced the inflation data for June, clarifying the raises to be applied to the salaries of civil servants and retirees.
According to the data released by TÜİK, inflation increased by 1.64 percent on a monthly basis. Thus, the 6-month inflation rate reached 24.73 percent.

The raise rate for the salaries of civil servants and civil servant retirees is calculated based on the sum of the collective bargaining agreement raise and the inflation difference.
