The competition among banks regarding deposit interest rates has led to activity in financial markets. As of 2025, some banks are attracting the attention of savers with rates reaching up to 53 percent annually. While Alternatif Bank, Anadolubank, and Türkiye Finans are the institutions offering the highest rates, Fibabanka and Odea Bank follow with an interest rate of 52 percent. Banks such as ING and HSBC are also trying to attract investors with 51 percent interest.

In investments made with these rates, there are notable increases, especially in deposits of 500 thousand TL and 1 million TL.

In light of the highest interest rates, the short-term earnings are as follows:

Those who deposit their 500 thousand TL savings into a 32-day term deposit with the highest interest rate can earn a net profit of approximately 18,621 TL. The return that 1 million TL deposit investors will obtain at the end of the same term reaches approximately 37,241 TL.

While this interest rate race among banks offers investors significant short-term income opportunities, experts remind that one should not focus solely on interest rates. It is emphasized that maturity options and additional services provided by banks are also factors that influence investment decisions.

Additionally, while investments of 500 thousand TL and 1 million TL carry significant return potential over a 1-month term, it is important for investors to also consider risks and other conditions.
