How much is the Ramadan pita in Trabzon?

Davut İlik, President of the Trabzon Bakers Chamber, announced that the price of a 500-gram Ramadan pita with egg and sesame is 30 TL, while the price of a plain pita without egg and sesame is 28 TL.

RAMADAN PITA PRICE INCREASED DUE TO RISING COSTS

Last year, a 500-gram pita with egg and sesame was sold for 15 TL in Trabzon. Making a statement on the matter, Bakers Chamber President Davut İlik reminded that the price of a sack of flour, which was 370 TL last year, is now being sold for around 670 TL this year.

İlik stated, "Compared to last year, there has been a significant increase in both the price of flour and labor costs. Therefore, we were forced to implement such an increase in the price of pita. There were places where different prices were determined. We tried not to victimize either the citizens or the bakers. Our citizens will take the cost increases into consideration."
