How much will the pension increase be?
There are only a few days left until the new increased salaries for millions of civil servants and retirees are determined. On July 3, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) will announce the inflation figures for June, after which the inflation difference to be reflected in salaries will become clear.

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) will announce the June inflation data on July 3 at 10:00 AM. Following this data, the final raise rate that civil servants and civil servant retirees will receive will be determined.
In addition to the 15% collective bargaining raise received for the first 6 months of 2024, civil servants and civil servant retirees will receive an inflation difference on top of the 10% collective bargaining raise for the second half of the year.
MAY INFLATION DATA
TÜİK announced the May inflation rate as 3.37%. With this data, the 5-month inflation difference that civil servants and civil servant retirees will receive reached 6.71%, and the raise rate was calculated as 17.32%. With the announcement of the June inflation data, the final raise rate for civil servants and civil servant retirees will become clear.
EXPECTED RAISE RATE FOR JULY 2024
In line with estimates and expectations, the July 2024 salary increase for civil servants and civil servant retirees is expected to be 20.02%. Following the raise made in January 2024, the lowest civil servant salary had risen to 32,860 TL. After a 20% raise in July, the lowest civil servant salary is expected to rise to 39,445 TL, and the lowest civil servant retiree pension is expected to rise from 14,740 TL to 17,694 TL.
