Increase in Brent crude oil price per barrel

The price of a barrel of Brent crude oil is trading at $79.05 in international markets.

After rising to as high as $81.55 yesterday, the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil closed the day at $78.70. As of 09:25 today, the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil has increased by 0.44 percent compared to the closing price, reaching $79.05.

At the same time, a barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was finding buyers at $74.10.

The rise in oil prices was driven by the announcement that the OPEC+ group, consisting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and some non-OPEC producer countries, will continue its policy of reducing oil production until April 3.
