Increase in Central Bank reserves

The increase in CBRT reserves continues. According to the announced figures, CBRT reserves increased by 2 billion dollars last week.

It is estimated that CBRT reserves increased by approximately 2 billion dollars last week. This increase marks a new peak in gross reserves.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) total reserves are estimated to have increased by approximately 1.96 billion dollars in the week ending October 18. With this increase, reserves are expected to approach 160 billion dollars.

According to calculations made by Foreks Haber based on CBRT data, reserves, which were 157.4 billion dollars in the week of October 11, had reached a new peak of approximately 157.4 billion dollars in the week of September 29.

The CBRT will announce the reserve data weekly on Thursday at 14:30.
