The April-dated index contract on the Borsa Istanbul Derivatives Market (VIOP) traded at 10,178.25 points in the opening session, 0.1 percent below the previous normal session close.
Yesterday, the index contract followed a volatile course and completed the normal session at 10,184.00 points, 0.7 percent above its previous close. The index contract was at 10,179.00 points in the evening session.
Analysts stated that global markets are following a mixed course as uncertainty increases regarding the steps the US Federal Reserve (Fed) will take in the coming period, following macroeconomic data released in the US that indicated economic activity remains strong.
