ING Türkiye held its Practica Camp event, a key stage of its International Talent Program aimed at providing young talents with a strong start to their global career journeys, this year under the theme of “Courage, Adaptation & Flexibility.” At the event held at ING Headquarters, candidates met with ING leaders, teams from various business lines, and program alumni. Participants got to know the ING culture closely while engaging with experience-oriented content regarding the future of the working world.
This year, Practica Camp aimed to support the development of young talents as professionals who can adapt to a changing world, think agilely, and freely demonstrate their potential.
In line with its “First you be yourself, then you become an INGer” approach, ING Türkiye offered participants an experience space where they could shape their own career journeys. Throughout the program, participants attended sessions held on various topics ranging from ING’s strategy and transformation journey to artificial intelligence applications, and from its sustainability approach to its agile working culture.
In addition to experience sharing by past International Talent Program participants, the candidates' analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills were supported through case studies and interactive applications.
Within the scope of the event, Kübra Denizci Keskin, the world’s first and only disabled female rally pilot, also held an inspiring conversation with the young talents. Young people who successfully complete the evaluation steps at the camp will take their place among the talents shaping the future of ING.
Stating that they view the International Talent Program as an important development journey where young people find the opportunity to discover their potential and shape their careers, Hale Ökmen Ataklı, ING Türkiye Executive Vice President of Human Resources, said, “We care about supporting the development of young talents through the different experiences we offer them throughout the program and helping them make a strong start to their global career journeys. In line with ING’s human-centric culture and our ‘First you be yourself, then you become an INGer’ philosophy, we aim to provide a work environment where young people can courageously shape their careers. Practica Camp serves as an important experience platform where we bring this approach together with young talents.”
The International Talent Program, which ING Türkiye has been conducting on a global scale for over 30 years, is currently implemented in 14 countries. Within the scope of the program, which offers an 18-month development journey, participants gain the opportunity to acquire experience in different career paths, as well as training and certification programs, mentorship support, and local and global rotation opportunities.
