Intense interest in Tarkan's Istanbul concert: Ticket prices are burning pockets

When Tarkan announced he would be taking the stage in Istanbul after a 6-year hiatus, his fans flocked to ticket sales platforms. As tickets for the four-night concert series sold out in a short time, organizers announced they would add four more nights of concerts.
Tickets for Tarkan, who last performed in Harbiye in 2019, have fallen into the black market, causing prices to soar. Fans turned to ticket exchange sites to find tickets, where prices also increased due to the black market effect.
INCREASE IN TICKET PRICES
Tickets for the concert, which will take place in January 2026, were put on sale approximately two months ago. Prices on Biletix according to categories were listed as follows:
- Tribune 5th Category (Restricted view): 1,522 TL
- Field Standing: 3,675 TL
- Tribune 4th Category: 4,725 TL
- Tribune 3rd Category: 5,775 TL
- Tribune 2nd Category: 7,875 TL
- North & South Front of Stage Standing: 8,925 TL
- Tribune 1st Category: 9,975 TL
- Tribune VIP: 12,600 TL
Ticket prices for the concert held in Harbiye in 2019 ranged between 75 TL and 1,000 TL. At that time, tickets also sold out quickly and were sold on the black market for between 448 TL and 6,173 TL.
THE IMPACT OF INFLATION
Tarkan concert tickets saw an increase of 1,929 percent in the lowest category and 1,160 percent in the highest category. While it was possible to buy 26 tickets in the lowest category and 2 tickets in the highest category with the 2,020.9 TL minimum wage in 2019, only 14 tickets in the lowest category and just 1 ticket in the highest category can be purchased with the 22,104 TL minimum wage in 2025.
