The Competition Authority announced that a competition investigation has been opened regarding Yemek Sepeti.

FOUND TO BE SERIOUS AND SUFFICIENT

The following statement was included in the announcement made by the Competition Authority:

"The preliminary investigation conducted into allegations that Yemek Sepeti Elektronik İletişim Perakende Gıda AŞ violated Articles 4 and/or 6 of the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition by mandating its own courier service within the scope of its online food ordering-delivery platform service and by hindering the operations of member businesses has been concluded by the Competition Board.

Discussing the information, documents, and findings obtained during the preliminary investigation at its meeting dated 07.03.2024, the Competition Board found the findings to be serious and sufficient, and decided to open an investigation into Yemek Sepeti Elektronik İletişim Perakende Gıda AŞ with the decision number 24-12/211-M."
