Hike in İSPARK fees

In the third session of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Assembly in October, parking fees for İSPARK were increased by up to 57 percent.

The new fee schedule for İSPARK, which was unanimously approved by the IMM Assembly, will be valid until December 31, 2023, effective from today. Authorization for a total of 688 million Euros in external borrowing was granted for 3 Metro projects.

The third session of the October ordinary meeting of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Assembly was held at the IMM Saraçhane building.

The proposal containing the İSPARK price hike request submitted to the assembly by the IMM in September and the external borrowing proposals for 3 Metro projects were examined by the relevant commissions. The proposal discussed by the commissions was unanimously approved by the IMM assembly.

As a result of the approved proposals, İSPARK fees in Istanbul were increased by between 55 and 57 percent. With the approval of the external borrowing proposals for 3 Metro projects, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality was granted authorization for a total of 688 million Euros in borrowing. In July, İSPARK fees had been increased by 18 percent in the IMM Assembly.

HİKE IN İSPARK PARKING FEES

In 21 districts, including Üsküdar, Fatih, Beşiktaş, Beyoğlu, Kadıköy, Şişli, Ataşehir, Beykoz, Bakırköy, Bayrampaşa, Güngören, Bahçelievler, Eyüpsultan, Kartal, Maltepe, Kağıthane, Tuzla, Pendik, Zeytinburnu, Ümraniye, and Sarıyer, the parking fee for up to 1 hour was increased from 33 liras to 52 liras.

In the same districts, the parking fee for up to 2 hours reached 66 liras from 42 liras, the fee for up to 4 hours reached 73 liras from 47 liras, the fee for up to 8 hours reached 101 liras from 65 liras, the fee for up to 12 hours reached 134 liras from 86 liras, and the fee for up to 24 hours reached 202 liras from 130 liras.

In the districts of Bağcılar, Arnavutköy, Avcılar, Adalar, Beylikdüzü, Büyükçekmece, Başakşehir, Çatalca, Esenler, Çekmeköy, Esenyurt, Küçükçekmece, Sancaktepe, Silivri, Sultangazi, Sultanbeyli, Şile, and Gaziosmanpaşa, the 1-hour parking fee, which was 23 liras, was increased to 36 liras.

In these districts as well, the fee for up to 2 hours increased from 33 liras to 52 liras, the fee for up to 4 hours from 37 liras to 58 liras, the fee for up to 8 hours from 47 liras to 73 liras, the fee for up to 12 hours from 72 liras to 95 liras, and the fee for up to 24 hours from 94 liras to 146 liras.

For on-street parking, the fee for up to 1 hour in the first and second zones was increased from 33 liras to 52 liras, the fee for up to 2 hours from 42 liras to 66 liras, the daily parking fee from 94 liras to 146 liras, and the fee for each subsequent hour from 14 liras to 22 liras.

In the third zone, the 1-hour fee became 36 liras, the 1-2 hour fee 52 liras, and the daily fee 124 liras.
