Istanbul's November inflation figures announced
The Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) has released its price research figures for the city for November. According to the data, prices in the clothing group increased by over 5 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, the rate of price increases continues to decline compared to the previous year.

The ITO has announced the data for the Istanbul Wage Earners' Cost of Living Index and the Wholesale Price Index for November.
Compared to October, there was a 5.65 percent increase in clothing prices and a 5.25 percent increase in housing and rental prices.
According to the institution's report, the cost of living for wage earners in Istanbul increased by more than three percent compared to the previous month. Annual inflation, which was 73.89 percent in the same period last year, remained at 57.99 percent.
Wholesale prices increased by 2.68 percent compared to the previous month. Compared to the previous year, the price increase rate fell by 22.35 points to 42.72 percent.
Within the cost of living categories most affected by price increases in Istanbul, the food group ranked third.
Compared to the previous month, food prices increased by more than three percent. While prices also rose in household goods as well as health and personal care expenditures, a 1.27 percent decrease was detected in the culture, education, and entertainment group.
In the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce's research, the highest increase in wholesale prices occurred in the raw materials group.
Prices rose by over 8 percent compared to the previous month. The inflation rate for construction materials was measured at nearly five and a half percent.
