No changes are expected in fuel prices as of today. However, gasoline, diesel, and LPG prices are expected to rise again with the automatic SCT update to be implemented in July.

The fixed SCT amounts applied to fuel are updated every year in January and July in line with the last six-month Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).

SCT INCREASE EXPECTED TO REFLECT AT THE PUMP

According to calculations by fuel market expert Cahit Saraçoğlu, the increase stemming from the SCT in the July 2026 period is projected to be 2.66 TL per liter for gasoline, 2.84 TL for diesel, and 1.22 TL for LPG.

GASOLINE PRICE MAY APPROACH THE 65 TL THRESHOLD

If the expected increase is directly reflected in pump prices, the price per liter of gasoline, which is 62.29 TL on the European side of Istanbul, is expected to rise to approximately 64.95 TL.

On the Anatolian side of Istanbul, the price per liter is projected to rise from 62.11 TL to 64.77 TL.

It is calculated that the price per liter of gasoline will rise from 63.23 TL to 65.89 TL in Ankara, and from 63.50 TL to 66.16 TL in İzmir.

TOWARDS THE 68 TL LEVEL IN DIESEL

A similar increase is expected in diesel prices with the arrival of July.

The price per liter is projected to rise from 64.57 TL to 67.41 TL on the European side of Istanbul, and from 64.39 TL to 67.23 TL on the Anatolian side.

The price per liter of diesel is expected to rise from 65.64 TL to 68.48 TL in Ankara, and from 65.92 TL to 68.76 TL in İzmir.

NEW PRICES ON THE AGENDA FOR LPG AS WELL

An SCT increase of 1.22 TL per liter is also calculated for LPG.

In this direction, the price per liter, which is 31.99 TL on the European side of Istanbul, is expected to rise to 33.21 TL, and from 31.39 TL to 32.61 TL on the Anatolian side. It is estimated that the price per liter of LPG could rise to 33.19 TL in Ankara and 33.01 TL in İzmir.

These figures are based on calculations made assuming that the SCT increase is directly reflected in pump prices. It is stated that final prices may vary depending on the pricing policies of distribution companies, as well as changes in exchange rates and international oil prices.
