Late payment penalty for SSI receivables announced! Effective from April 1
According to the decision published in the Official Gazette with the signature of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the late payment penalty for SSI premiums and other receivables will be applied at a rate of 3 percent.

The Presidential "Decision on the Redetermination of the Late Payment Penalty Rate Applied Pursuant to the Second Paragraph of Article 89 of the Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law No. 5510" has been published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, the late payment penalty rate applied within the scope of Article 89 of the Social Insurance (SSI) and General Health Insurance Law has been set at 3 percent.
The decision will be effective from April 1, 2024.
