Latest status of Dollar/TL ahead of Central Bank's interest rate decision
The Turkish Lira's depreciation against the dollar and euro continues. In the Istanbul free market, the dollar started the day at 34.0620 lira, and the euro at 38.0160 lira.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) Monetary Policy Committee (PPK) will announce its policy rate today at 14:00.
While all eyes in the markets are on the TCMB's interest rate decision, the dollar is being bought at 34.0600 lira and sold at 34.0620 lira in the free market.
The selling price of the euro, which is bought at 38.0140 lira, has been set at 38.0160 lira.
Yesterday, the selling price of the dollar was 34.1000 lira, and the selling price of the euro was 37.9760 lira.
WHAT WILL THE CENTRAL BANK'S INTEREST RATE DECISION BE?
The Central Bank has kept the policy rate at 50 percent for the last five months. Market participants and economists predict that the TCMB will not change interest rates at this meeting as well.
