Lowest pension difference payments to be deposited into accounts on August 7

The date for the monthly difference payments resulting from the increase of the lowest pension to 23,552 liras has been clarified. The Social Security Institution (SGK) announced that the difference payments to be made to beneficiaries will be deposited into their accounts on August 7, 2026.
With the regulation that was accepted and enacted in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in July, the lowest pension was increased to 23,552 liras, effective from the July 2026 payment period.
Following the entry into force of the regulation, while monthly payments were made in accordance with the existing calendar, the day on which the differences resulting from the increase will be paid was also announced by the SGK.
According to the SGK statement, beneficiaries will be able to withdraw their difference payments from the bank accounts where they receive their pensions starting from August 7.
