Mahfi Eğilmez reacts to the price hike on Ramadan pita

The price of Ramadan pita has been set. Halil İbrahim Balcı, President of the Turkish Bakers Federation, announced how much the pita will cost during a live broadcast.

Accordingly, he announced that in Istanbul and Ankara, 250 grams of Ramadan pita will be sold for 15 liras, and 300 grams for 18 liras.

Eğilmez shared a notable comment regarding the announced pita price hike.

Eğilmez commented on the pita price increase by saying, "Shrinkflation + greedflation is at play. It's unclear whether we are buying pita or taking an introductory economics course."
