Manipulation investigation at Borsa Istanbul: 14 people in custody
14 people have been taken into custody as part of an investigation launched into allegations of manipulation in transactions carried out at Borsa Istanbul.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation after detecting unusual price and volume fluctuations in capital market instruments traded on Borsa Istanbul. Examinations determined that these fluctuations caused losses for small investors and led to artificial price increases.
In line with these findings, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued detention warrants for 14 individuals. Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Financial Crimes Investigation Branch conducted simultaneous operations to apprehend the suspects. The 14 individuals detained as a result of the operations were taken to the Istanbul Police Department's headquarters on Vatan Street for questioning.
