Market balances shifted this week! The investment vehicle that generated gains stood out
While Borsa İstanbul closed the week with a 0.27 percent loss, gram gold rose to 6,185 liras. Limited gains were also observed in the dollar and euro.

Gold provided the highest return in weekly investment vehicle performance. While stocks traded on Borsa İstanbul finished the week with an average loss of 0.27 percent, gram gold gained 2.18 percent in value.
The BIST 100 index saw a weekly low of 13,875.58 points and a high of 14,228.02 points. The index closed the week at 13,943.87 points, down 0.27 percent from the previous week's close.
In the Grand Bazaar, the gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold increased by 2.18 percent to 6,185 liras. The selling price of Republic gold also rose by 1.69 percent to 40,492 liras.
The selling price of quarter gold, which was 9,993 liras last weekend, reached 10,170 liras with a 1.77 percent increase.

The rise continued on the foreign exchange side as well. The US dollar increased by 0.76 percent on a weekly basis to 47.3440 liras, while the euro rose by 0.31 percent to 53.8590 liras.
In the fund market, investment funds gained 0.45 percent and pension funds gained 0.41 percent in value. Among investment funds, the best-performing category of the week was precious metals funds with 1.78 percent.
