Massive fuel price hike cancelled

A MASSIVE FUEL HIKE WAS COMING!
Fuel price boards were set to change starting tomorrow. Accordingly, a hike of 7.67 TL for diesel was expected, while for gasoline, a 57 kuruş hike was expected to be reflected at the pump instead of a 2.29 TL hike due to the continuation of the sliding scale system.
According to the report by journalist Olcay Aydilek, the expected fuel price hikes have been cancelled. Sharing on his social media account, Aydilek stated the following:
"TÜPRAŞ sent the price list regarding the hike to be implemented at midnight to distribution companies. There is no diesel or gasoline hike on the list. Sector representatives answered the question of whether a second list could be issued during the day by saying, 'Hikes have been notified in a single list until today.' We shall see."
