News of price hikes continues to arrive before the minimum wage, set at 17 thousand 2 TL, even enters the citizens' pockets.
Most recently, a price hike of 1 lira 49 kuruş on gasoline, effective from Wednesday, December 20, and a price hike of 1 lira 61 kuruş per liter on diesel, effective from Friday, December 22, were implemented.
SCT HIKE ON FUEL
According to what Duvar reported from industry sources, a 3 lira Special Consumption Tax (SCT) hike will be applied to diesel and gasoline on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
