May report on the second-hand vehicle market: Which models were preferred as prices rose?
Prices in the second-hand vehicle market rose in May. The most frequently listed brands and models have been announced.

Second-hand vehicle listing data for May was evaluated in the Monthly Price Index published by arabam.com. Average listing prices, which were 795 thousand 578 liras in April, rose to 805 thousand 729 liras in May. An average increase of over 10 thousand TL per vehicle was recorded.
When real prices were adjusted for inflation, they fell by only 0.25 percent compared to April. This was recorded as the lowest real price decline since the beginning of the year.
MOST FREQUENTLY LISTED MODELS
Among the brands with the most listings in May, Fiat, Renault, Volkswagen, Ford, Opel, Hyundai, Peugeot, Toyota, BMW, and Citroen stood out. On a model basis, the Clio, Megane, Astra, Egea, Corolla, Focus, Passat, Polo, Civic, and Corsa were the most frequently listed cars.
The listing rate for vehicles priced at one million liras and above rose to 27.3 percent in May, an increase of 1.1 percentage points compared to the previous month. While the listing rate for vehicles up to 5 years old rose to 27 percent, vehicles in the 6-9 age range accounted for 16.2 percent of listings, and vehicles in the 10-15 age range accounted for 26.8 percent. Vehicles in the 16-20 age range were listed at a rate of 13 percent, while vehicles aged 20 and over were listed at 17.1 percent.
LISTINGS BY FUEL TYPE
In May, the listing rate for gasoline vehicles rose from 28.1 percent to 33.9 percent, while the rate for diesel vehicles fell to 46.4 percent. The listing rate for LPG vehicles dropped to 18.2 percent, while electric vehicles were listed at 0.5 percent and hybrid vehicles at 1 percent.
