Mediation fees also increased
The minimum wage tariff for payments to be made in 2024 for mediation activities in the resolution of private law disputes has been determined. According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, mediation fees have been increased.

According to the 2024 Mediation Minimum Wage Tariff published in the Official Gazette, for family law, employee/employer, and consumer disputes, in cases where there are 2 parties, 520 liras per hour will be paid per party; in cases where there are 3-5 parties, 1100 liras per hour will be paid regardless of the number of parties; in cases where there are 6-10 parties, 1200 liras per hour will be paid regardless of the number of parties; and in cases where there are 11 or more parties, 1300 liras per hour will be paid regardless of the number of parties.
In commercial disputes where there are 2 parties, the hourly fee will be 900 liras. For disputes with 3-5 parties, the fee has been set at 1900 liras, for 6-10 parties at 2000 liras, and for 11 or more parties at 2100 liras.
STARTS FROM 580 LIRAS IN RENTAL DISPUTES
In disputes arising from rent, neighbor rights, and the Condominium Law, in cases where there are 2 parties, 580 liras per hour will be paid per party; in cases where there are 3-5 parties, 1200 liras per hour will be paid regardless of the number of parties; in cases where there are 6-10 parties, 1300 liras per hour will be paid regardless of the number of parties; and in cases where there are 11 or more parties, 1400 liras per hour will be paid regardless of the number of parties.
In other types of disputes that do not involve money or cannot be evaluated with money, the hourly fee has been set at 550 liras in cases where there are 2 parties.
In legal disputes that involve money or can be evaluated with money, if one mediator serves, the fee will be 6 percent of the agreed amount for the first 200 thousand liras, and if more than one mediator serves, the fee will be 9 percent.
The new fee tariff will enter into force on January 1, 2024.
