Mehmet Şimşek makes statement on 'Gulf tour'

Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek, who visited the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, stated regarding his Gulf tour: "At the 'Türkiye: Your Resilient Partner' program, we presented investment opportunities in our country to over 200 investors and representatives of the financial world."

Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek shared a post on his social media account regarding his visit to Gulf countries.

Stating that they have begun their Gulf country program covering the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Şimşek reported that they first held a productive meeting in Abu Dhabi with UAE Minister of Investment Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi .

Providing information that he met with Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari in Qatar, his second stop, Şimşek noted the following:

"We met with Expo Doha 2023 Secretary General Mohamed Ali Al Khouri and received information about the organization. We visited the Turkey Pavilion located in the fairgrounds, which was built in a very short time. It was very impressive. Within the scope of the 'Turkey Investment Century,' we presented investment opportunities in our country to over 200 investors and representatives of the financial world at the 'Türkiye: Your Resilient Partner' program, organized by our Embassy in Qatar and the Presidential Investment Office. Today, we are attending the 'Future Investment Initiative' conference in Riyadh."
