It was stated that the Ministry of Treasury and Finance is continuing its work on a draft prepared with the aims of ensuring justice and efficiency in taxation, reducing informality, and ensuring that those who earn more pay more tax and those who earn less pay less.

The new tax draft does not contain provisions that directly concern citizens; the package mostly includes regulations regarding producers, industrialists, and exporters. For this reason, Şimşek, who will share the details of the draft with leading organizations of the real sector, will receive the business world's views and suggestions regarding the new regulations.

Details regarding practices included in the package, such as the minimum corporate tax for multinational companies, local minimum corporate tax to increase the share of direct taxes, and minimum income tax, will be explained to real sector representatives.

Şimşek's meeting with business world representatives will take place behind closed doors at the Ministry of Treasury and Finance on Monday.

The meeting will be attended by presidents and executives of organizations such as TOBB, TİM, MÜSİAD, DEİK, ASKON, TÜRKONFED, TÜRMOB, TÜSİAD, and YASED.

The draft tax study prepared by the Ministry will be forwarded to the relevant government and party bodies after receiving the views of the business world.

The regulatory efforts carried out with the aim of leaving no area untaxed in Turkey are expected to continue in the coming period in line with the goals set out in the Medium-Term Program. It was noted that these packages also aim to increase efficiency in the tax system.
