Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek made a statement following the June market participants survey published by the CBRT today.
Minister Şimşek used the following expressions in his statement on his X account:
"The improvement in inflation expectations continues. The increasing confidence and predictability brought by our program are also reflected in inflation expectations.
The decline in year-end inflation expectations continued in June. The 12-month annual inflation expectation fell to 31.8 percent, and the 24-month expectation fell to 20.3 percent. As expectations continue to converge toward our targets, our disinflation process will accelerate further."
