Meta has shared its financial report for the first quarter of 2024. It is noted that while this report was received positively within the company, it did not satisfy investors. Meta's revenue increased by 27 percent to reach 36.5 billion dollars, and its profitability rose by 100 percent to 12.4 billion dollars. Nevertheless, it was stated that shares lost 17 percent of their value.
According to the report in Patronlar Dünyası, it was emphasized that Mark Zuckerberg's statement that they will continue to invest in artificial intelligence and that this technology will not generate profit for Meta for at least a few more years seems to have caused a reaction from investors.
