Stock market declined in the first half of the day

As of 13:00, the index had decreased by 179.44 points compared to the previous close. The BIST 100 index, which closed at 9,142.40 points on Friday, started the week at 9,234.48 points, up by 92.08 points and 1.01 percent.

During the first half of the day, the index saw a low of 8,961.52 points and a high of 9,258.64 points.

In the first half of the day, the financial index lost 1.93 percent, the services index 1.57 percent, the industrial index 3.02 percent, and the technology index 4.39 percent.

Compared to the previous close, 14 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose, while 86 lost value. The most actively traded stocks were Turkish Airlines, Türkiye İş Bankası (C), Yapı ve Kredi Bankası, Tüpraş, and Emlak Konut Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı.
