The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul rose by 0.06 percent in the first half of the day to reach 8,888.54 points. In the Istanbul free market, the dollar is trading at 32.2130 Turkish liras, and the euro is trading at 35.1060 Turkish liras.

As of 1:00 PM, the index had increased by 5.03 points compared to the previous close. The BIST 100 index, which closed at 8,883.52 points yesterday, started the day at 8,901.86 points, up 18.34 points and 0.21 percent.
In the first half of the day, the index saw a low of 8,852.58 points and a high of 8,908.01 points.
During the first half of the day, the services index gained 0.53 percent, the technology index 0.49 percent, and the industrial index 0.11 percent, while the financial index recorded a decrease of 0.11 percent.
Compared to the previous close, 60 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose in the first half of the day, while 38 lost value. The most actively traded stocks were Astor Enerji, Turkish Airlines, Ereğli Demir Çelik, Mia Teknoloji, and Tüpraş.

In international markets, as of 1:00 PM, the euro/dollar parity is at 1.0900, the sterling/dollar parity is at 1.2750, and the dollar/yen parity is at 148.7.
In the Istanbul free market, the dollar is being sold at 32.2130 liras and the euro at 35.1060 liras.
The ounce of gold is trading at 2,172 dollars in international markets, up 0.5 percent compared to its previous close, while a barrel of London Brent crude oil is trading at 84.5 dollars, down 0.2 percent.
