The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul fell by 0.04 percent in the first half of the day to 10,476.01 points. In the Istanbul free market, the dollar is trading at 32.3120 lira and the euro at 35.0310 lira.

As of 1:00 PM, the index fell by 4.42 points, or 0.04 percent, compared to the previous close, reaching 10,476.01 points. The BIST 100 index, which closed at 10,479.16 points yesterday, started the day at 10,506.79 points, up by 27.63 points or 0.26 percent.
During the first half of the day, the index saw a low of 10,457.98 points and a high of 10,550.14 points.
In the first half of the day, the technology index gained 1.64 percent and the financial index gained 0.37 percent, while the services index lost 0.44 percent and the industrial index lost 0.54 percent.
Compared to the previous close, 39 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose, while 60 lost value. The most actively traded stocks were Türkiye İş Bankası (C), Turkish Airlines, Akbank, Ereğli Demir Çelik, and Yapı ve Kredi Bankası.

In international markets, as of 1:00 PM, the euro/dollar parity is at 1.0810, the sterling/dollar parity is at 1.2710, and the dollar/yen parity is at 156.90.

The ounce of gold is trading at 2,333 dollars in international markets, down 0.2 percent, while a barrel of London Brent crude oil is trading at 83 dollars, down 0.4 percent.
