The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul fell by 0.43 percent in the first half of the day to 9,058.20 points. In the Istanbul free market, the dollar is trading at 31.5100 Turkish liras and the euro at 34.1780 Turkish liras.

As of 1:00 PM, the index had decreased by 38.95 points compared to the previous close. The BIST 100 index, which closed at 9,097.15 points on Friday, started the week at 9,139.11 points, up by 41.96 points and 0.46 percent.
During the first half of the day, the index saw a low of 9,035.35 points and a high of 9,149.90 points.
In the first half of the day, the services index lost 0.48 percent, the financial index 0.08 percent, the industrial index 0.07 percent, and the technology index 0.2 percent.
Compared to the previous close, 31 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose, while 66 lost value during the first half of the day. The most actively traded stocks were Mia Teknoloji, Turkish Airlines, Şişecam, Ereğli Demir Çelik, and Tüpraş.

In international markets, as of 1:00 PM, the euro/dollar parity is at 1.0850, the sterling/dollar parity is at 1.2680, and the dollar/yen parity is at 150.3.
In the Istanbul free market, the dollar is being sold at 31.5100 liras and the euro at 34.1780 liras.
The ounce of gold is trading at 2,085 dollars in international markets with a 0.1 percent increase, while a barrel of London Brent crude oil is trading flat at 83.2 dollars.
