The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul increased by 44.46 points as of 13:00 compared to the previous close. The BIST 100 index, which closed at 8,471.70 points yesterday, started the day at 8,512.55 points with an increase of 40.85 points and 0.48 percent.
The index saw a low of 8,438.88 points and a high of 8,516.63 points during the first half of the day.
In the first half of the day, the financial index gained 0.2 percent, the services index 0.33 percent, the technology index 1.12 percent, and the industrial index 0.73 percent.
Compared to the previous close, 56 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose, while 39 lost value in the first half of the day. The most actively traded stocks were Türk Hava Yolları, Ereğli Demir Çelik, Turkcell İletişim Hizmetleri, Garanti BBVA, and Tüpraş.
