Minimum wage message from Minister Işıkhan

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan attended the Common Tomorrows Award Ceremony organized by the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations at a hotel.

In his opening speech at the program, Minister Işıkhan also touched upon the minimum wage, which concerns millions of employees.

Speaking about the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, Işıkhan remarked, "Hopefully, we will begin our commission meetings on December 11 to determine the 2024 minimum wage level. As always, we will conduct this process with sensitivity, seeking consensus and agreement with our worker and employer representatives. I sincerely believe that, regardless of the conditions, we will build the strong and prosperous Turkey of the future together."
