Minimum wage support bill submitted to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey

A legislative proposal including the implementation of a 700 lira minimum wage support and the reduction of the minimum premium payment day requirement for short-time work allowance to 450 days has been submitted to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

The proposed regulation regarding minimum wage support determines the state support for minimum wage earners and stipulates the amount of payments to be made within this scope as 700 lira. Furthermore, it is proposed that the minimum number of premium payment days required to receive short-time work allowance be reduced to 450.
