Mining sites to be tendered with requirement for end-product production

The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs (MAPEG), will tender a mining site in Sivas with the condition that a facility for end-product production be established.

The announcement regarding the matter was published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, the 4th group nickel-cobalt mining site in Sivas has been put up for tender with the requirement of establishing a facility for end-product production.

Information regarding the site to be tendered will be announced on MAPEG's website. The announcement will include the tender specifications, coordinate information, area, and the tender date for the site being tendered with the facility requirement.

Applications must be submitted directly to the tender commission at the MAPEG Atilla Şinasi ÖZDEMİR Conference Hall between 09:00 and 09:30 on the date of the tender. Applications made by mail or other means will be considered invalid.

The security deposit amount required to participate in the tender, which will be conducted via closed bid and open auction, cannot be less than the base tender price specified in the site's specifications or 20 percent of the closed bid submitted.

316 mining sites to be tendered

Additionally, 316 mining sites have also been put up for tender by MAPEG.

In the decision published in the Official Gazette, it was stated that information regarding the tenders will be announced on MAPEG's website for at least 15 days from the date of the announcement.

The tenders will be conducted via closed bid and open auction.
