Minister announces: New development regarding marriage loan
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that they have moved up the second-stage payments of the Family and Youth Fund, known publicly as the interest-free marriage loan, due to the Eid al-Adha holiday, and that the payments will be deposited into accounts as of today.

The second-stage payments of the Family and Youth Fund, known publicly as the interest-free marriage loan, have begun.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that they will make a total payment of 180 million 450 thousand Turkish Lira to 1,203 couples who applied, benefited from pre-marriage education and counseling services, and held their official wedding ceremonies during the month of May.
Reminding that applications for the project in question began to be accepted via the address "www.aile.gov.tr" as of February 15, Minister Göktaş provided information that they are providing interest-free loan support in the amount of 150 thousand TL with a 48-month maturity and a 2-year grace period to couples whose applications are approved.
2 THOUSAND 976 COUPLES PROVIDED WITH EDUCATION AND COUNSELING SERVICES
Minister Göktaş stated that 9 thousand 992 couples have applied to the Family and Youth Fund as of today, and that they have provided pre-marriage education and counseling services to 2 thousand 976 couples who met the requirements.
Minister Göktaş said the following:
“We are carrying out the pilot implementation of the project, which we brought to life with the vision of our President, in the earthquake-affected region of Adıyaman, the İslahiye and Nurdağı districts of Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, and Malatya. We had deposited the first payment of our support into the accounts of our couples who participated in the training programs and held their official wedding ceremonies between April 15-30. We are moving up the second-stage payments due to the Eid al-Adha holiday and are depositing them into accounts as of today. We will make a total payment of 180 million 450 thousand Turkish Lira to our 1,203 couples who held their official wedding ceremonies during the month of May.”
