Minister Göktaş announced: January payments have been deposited into accounts

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş stated that the January birth assistance payments have been deposited into mothers' accounts as of today, adding, "Within this scope, we have made payments totaling 10.3 billion liras to the accounts of 787 thousand 598 mothers to date."

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that the January birth assistance payments have been deposited into mothers' accounts.

Göktaş noted that within this scope, as of January 1, 2025, a one-time support of 5 thousand liras is provided for the first child, 1 thousand 500 liras per month for the second child, and 5 thousand liras per month for the third and subsequent children.

Göktaş continued as follows:

"Within this scope, we have deposited the January birth assistance payments into mothers' accounts as of today. Thus, we have made payments totaling 10.3 billion liras to the accounts of a total of 787 thousand 598 mothers who have benefited from birth assistance to date. As a Ministry, we will continue our efforts to strengthen healthy, conscious families with sustainable support mechanisms that encourage family formation. I wish for these payments to be beneficial to all our families."

Noting that applications for birth assistance are received via e-Devlet and the 'İlk Öğretmenim Ailem' mobile application, Minister Göktaş stated that families whose applications are approved can access information regarding the deposit of their birth assistance payments through the 'İlk Öğretmenim Ailem' mobile application. Göktaş also stated that birth assistance payments are deposited into accounts via Halkbank and reminded that the payments will continue uninterrupted until the children complete the age of 5.
