Minister Işıkhan announced: Will the holiday bonus be increased?

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan spoke regarding the retirees' demand for a holiday bonus.

Making statements to NTV, Minister Işıkhan said, "There is a demand to increase the retirees' holiday bonus, and we are ready to take these steps."

Stating that they are conducting work with the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Minister Işıkhan noted the following:

"We provided a one-time support of five thousand liras to our retirees. Our retirees should rest assured. We will carry out the necessary evaluations and work with Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, and we will take the steps. There is a demand from retirees, and we are ready to take this step."
