Minister Işıkhan sets 'increase in welfare level' condition for retiree pensions
Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan stated, "As our President has also expressed, as our welfare level increases, we will transfer this surplus income to our employees and retirees."

Minister Işıkhan visited Governor Musa Işın as part of his program in Kütahya. During his speech at the AKP Election Coordination Center in Zafer Square, Işıkhan stated that the AKP draws its strength from the nation.
Stating that they are in the process of carrying out important services worthy of the Century of Turkey as a Ministry, Işıkhan continued as follows:
"We have declared 2024 the 'Year of Retirees.' We have quickly begun our work regarding the issues our retirees experience and need, specifically in terms of increasing their social, psychological, economic, and cultural welfare.
With the approval of our President, we will celebrate 2024 as the 'Year of Retirees,' God willing.
As our work gradually becomes clearer and more concrete, we will share it with the public and with you.
Because our retirees are our crown jewels, as our President has always expressed.
As our welfare level increases, we will transfer this surplus income to our employees and retirees, God willing."
