Kacır made statements regarding the agenda and answered questions on TRT Haber.
Stating that the "Public Savings and Efficiency Package" is a multi-faceted effort, Kacır said that they will take the necessary steps to ensure these set targets are realized in the most effective way with the ministry and all affiliated institutions.
Pointing out that they will make contributions, especially regarding the vehicles included in the package, Kacır used the expression, "The use of Togg in the public sector will become increasingly widespread. We, as the Ministry, will continue to lead this process from now on, just as we have done until now. In the coming period, we will ensure that the preference for Togg becomes even more widespread among our managers and across all public channels."
"WE WILL DEVELOP A PUBLIC VEHICLE POOL PROGRAM"
Expressing that they have a proposal for the Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek regarding vehicle savings, Kacır said, "We will develop a public vehicle pool program.
Rather than individual vehicle use, we will ensure that the public sector utilizes its own vehicles through common pools via highly functional digital applications.
In this way, along with savings, the element of efficiency will also come to the fore. We will allocate the resources we obtain by reducing non-priority expenditures and expenses to efficient, value-added areas, high technology, production, and exports," he assessed.
Stating that with this strategy they will contribute to Turkey's employment, production, exports, and ultimately its growth story, Kacır noted the following:
"We aim to carry out infrastructure works related to connecting organized industrial zones to ports much more quickly with the resources we save from here.
In the coming period, our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will announce a new technology incentive program to the world. Our President will announce to the world a new high-tech investment program aimed at both accelerating Turkey's national projects in all new-generation technology fields, from chip technologies to battery technologies, and attracting global investments.
Thus, the main dynamic of our economic program will actually be working."
