Treasury and Finance Minister Şimşek met with US Deputy Treasury Secretary Adeyemo. During the meeting, views were exchanged on the US and Turkish economies.

In a statement released by the US Department of the Treasury, it was reported that Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek met with US Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo.
It was noted that Şimşek and Adeyemo exchanged views on the global economic outlook as well as the US and Turkish economies.
The meeting addressed how bilateral relations could be strengthened in areas such as deepening trade and investment, combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism, and the implementation of sanctions.
