Minister Şimşek responds to Erdoğan's remarks: 'We have promptly implemented all necessary policies'

In his speech at the rally, Erdoğan made statements regarding the economy, noting that the Turkish economy grew by 4.5 percent last year despite the earthquakes that occurred on February 6, which also affected Elazığ, and the conflicts in the region.

Erdoğan stated that there is no problem with the foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB) and that they will reduce inflation to single digits.

Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, in a post on his X account regarding Erdoğan's remarks, said, "Since the day we took office, we have promptly implemented all necessary policies."
