Ministry announces: Financial support for 3 provinces affected by wildfires

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that following the forest fires that occurred in Bursa, Eskişehir, and Karabük, a total of 10 million liras in funding has been provided to meet the urgent and basic needs of those affected by the fires.
In a written statement, Göktaş noted that the aforementioned funds have been transferred to the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations. In her statement, Göktaş included the following remarks: "We have transferred a total of 10 million liras to our Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations, with 5 million liras for Bursa, 2 million liras for Eskişehir, and 3 million liras for Karabük. We will continue our support and assistance for our citizens affected by the fires with determination."
Furthermore, Göktaş stated: "Psychosocial support teams have been on the ground from the very first moment of the forest fires experienced in Afyonkarahisar, Antalya, Bilecik, Bursa, Diyarbakır, Eskişehir, Kahramanmaraş, Karabük, Mersin, Sakarya, and Uşak. In the forest fires that occurred in 11 of our provinces over the last week, we have provided psychosocial support to 2,112 of our citizens with 220 of our personnel. As a Ministry, we will continue to stand by our citizens during this difficult process."
